TreeVitalize Planting
Blair Mill families and community members will follow up on the 175 trees planted last year along the stream behind our school. About 65 new trees will be planted.
Ground breaking for Clearbrook Park Project
This project includes dedication of the park as well as planting of the wetlands and teaching the importance, value and function of wetlands in the watershed.
Rain Barrel Program
Sixty rain barrels will be given away to community members after an information session on their importance and use.
Blair Mill Run Study
Group studies of the aquatic and insect life in Blair Mill Run. Learn how the type of fish and insects tell us about the health of our streams.
Backyard Habitat
Includes a demonstration of a backyard garden that provides a habitat for birds and butterflies.
Lawns to Meadows
Focus on the lawns to meadows project on Blair Mill’s property.
Various presentations by environmental organizations.
Food and fun activities for kids!

Storm water management and planting of a natural wetland in Clearwater Park will be introduced to the community.
Rain Barrel Program

Project Headwaters Presentation at 2009 Delaware Estuary Science Conference
Project Headwaters was selected to present at the Partnership for the Delaware Estuary's Science and Environmental Summit 2009. This event was held Jan. 11-14 at The Grand Hotel in Cape May, New Jersey, attracting more than 250 people.
Shandor Szalay delivered the Project Headwaters Presentation entitled "Project Headwaters: A New Framework for watershed Restoration in the Dealware Estuary". Watch the Project Headwaters Presentation or read the abstract on the Project Documents page.
